Family Ministry Social Media Coordinator

Role:

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing the ccdelco family social media communications. This role includes overseeing the social media accounts and photo assets, with key functions such as strategic development, system implementation, and continuous management.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Calendar: Create an ongoing plan that schedules and organizes content, ensuring consistent posting across platforms

  • Post Types and Execution: Design various types of posts (e.g., promotional, educational, interactive) and outline how to execute them, including content themes and posting frequencies

  • Collaboration with Design Team: Work with the Family Ministry Team to produce visual content (images, videos) that complements the written copy for each post, ensuring cohesive branding and message delivery

  • Engagement with Platforms: Actively engage with both existing and new social media platforms to increase reach, interaction, and community building

 

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in managing platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, with knowledge of best practices for each

  • Experience using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar for designing graphics and promotional materials

  • Basic video recording and editing skills, including knowledge of software like iMovie, Final Cut Pro, or Adobe Premiere

 

Time Commitment Per Week:

3-4 hours/week

 

Commitment Period:

We ask that our volunteers in this role commit to serve in this capacity for 1 year
